Tagged - 15 Favorite Things
So I was tagged by one of my favorite fanfic writers tarysande, so here we go:
List 15 things that make you happy, then tag 15 more people.
1) Video games, especially RPGs that go beyond battles and give deep storylines and bonding (friendship and/or romance) like Persona and Mass Effect. Tell Tale Games (Currently playing Walking Dead Season 1).
2) Historical fiction and memoirs, for some reason I have more passion for WWII stories (mayhaps have something to do with my trip to France two years ago). Currently reading Outlander and I just finished Anne Frank's The Diary of a Young Girl for the first time last week.
3) FRANCE. Ever since I had the opportunity to go to France a couple of years ago I can't wait to go again, with any luck of temporarily living there. The rustic architecture, the markets, the streets, the age and ruins held with such pride within more modern cities, the people were mostly pleasant, the countryside - it was fantastic! Plus going to foreign countries makes you appreciate your own more, I always wanted some inkling of what it felt like to go from Europe to America, even if the plane ride was only seven hours compared to months at sea. :P
4) Fairytale Retellings, especially really creative ones (I look forward to reading the Lunar Chronicles). I've had my ups and downs with ABC's Once Upon a Time, but retellings by Robin McKinley and Tell Tale Games' Wolf Among Us are brilliant and range all over different genres.
5) Harry Potter and The Last Unicorn, my top favorite books. If there was a fire and I had to choose which books to save I would grab The Last Unicorn and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
6) Disney animated movies, this extends to Tangled and Frozen as well. CGI isn't my favorite kind of animation, but I do enjoy it. There is something about the classics though, Cinderella and the Jungle Book adapted by Disney that I will always love.
7) Walt Disney World, I worked there for a few months and I have gone a few times for vacation with family. I would live there if I could and I plan on it someday! Right now I am planning for a trip with some friends for 2016 and my family plans on going again this September! I can't wait! I love you Disney World!
8) A Capella and Violin music videos, specifically Jamey Ray, Peter Hollens, Lindsey Stirling and Taylor Davis.
9) Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Historical, Paranormal genres mixed with Romance. Preferably YA or Adult books.
10) Musicals, I've seen Spamlot, The Lion King and Wicked and I hope to see many more! Movie musicals do it for me too, Sound of Music my top favorite with Into the Woods and Les Mis right behind it.
11) Japanese lore and the language, writing kana and kanji makes me feel like I'm drawing!
12) My favorite artists range from Ashley Marie Witter to Kazuki Yone, from pencil art to manga.
13) Deviled eggs.
14) Homemade Chocolate Milkshakes.
15) Amusement parks (NOT during Halloween).
