uh i know this is none of my business or anything but i just want to inform you, as someone who lives in an area known for shootouts, when you hear gun shots you should stay away from the windows/doors, for the simple fact if the assailant is still there and fires again you can get hit with a stray bullet. i know it sounds selfish but yeah

No, not at all! it’s really helpful and honestly, the moment I heard the shooting I dropped dead to the floor. It’s sadly not the first time it happened because I like close to a risk zone, but it is the first time it happened so close. Like, usually we hear shootings from far, far away. We also live even closer to a battalion of the military police, and we often hear shootings from from there because of target practice, it’s sort of normal around this area. 

The risk zone is relatively far away that it has never come this close for the past 17 years I’ve lived here, so it was never particularly worrisome. This is definitely the first time it was so close.
