The Curving Path Series and Linger Series by chuchisushi
The first one follows early Genyatta through present timelines. Amazing characterizations; it’s sensual, sweet and has moments of delicious, heartfelt angst. This is my favorite fic series for non-AU genyatta.
The second is a fantasy AU with McHanzo included, mononoke, werewolves, and a suspiciously magical monk. : ) Just such a fantastic read if you love high fantasy AUs and clever ways to incorporate robots/cyborgs into an old-timish setting.
Manufactured Dogma by gayrob0t
Gah, this fic! It isn’t done but still well worth the read. It’s a birbyatta skin/nomad Genji fic that fucks up my heart. This author’s other fics are well worth the read if you’re looking for non-AU fics. Just 👌👌👌 Those Damn Hands is also another fave.
Reversewatch by Heronfoot (and others!)
What if Genji won the battle against his brother? What if Zenyatta used his powers for his own gain? What if fate still brought these two together? Basically, Zenyatta and Genji are awful murder husbands. If you’re looking for a refreshing take on these gentle boys, this is the series for you. It also has a lot of nice art to go with it on heronfoot’s tumblr!
The Sentai and the Cultist by Lacertae
A really well thought out and interesting take on Sentai AUs. If you want to sink your teeth into something longer and like hero stories, this is for you! It’s also super slow burn and it hurts me a lot. :’))

Looking for quick, spicy, beautiful reads featuring Zenyatta? Here you go! Especially if you like human!Zenyatta, these fics are for you. All of bride’s stuff is awesome and poignant and it makes me jealous but so happy that it exists. c:
