Blue-Winged Wasp aka Scolia dubia. They were pollinating this pepper plant by the dozens. Females dig in the soil and sting Japanese Beetle larvae ("Good Riddance!" says the weary Grapes and Soybeans) and green June Beetle larvae to paralyze them, and then lay their eggs so that when they hatch, their wasp babies have a big meal of beetle babies. #breakfastinbed #bluewingedwasp #scoliadubia #resilientrootsfarm #insectid #junebeetle #japanesebeetle #parasiticwasp #pollinators #pollination #pollinationstation
