So this gem was at the bottom of my heartburn medicine.
Do you want to be able to carpool the equivalent distance of Downtown to FIU main campus for $4? Use code: Guke8 after downloading the Uber app (awarded Innovative App of the year for 2013). This app is the taxi/carpool killer. Its revolutionary. And I'm not sure who hasn't heard of it yet if you're under 30yrs old. Anyone who hasn't tried Uber yet, please do so and use my code to get $30 credit towards your first ride (I also get a free ride, which is why I'm telling you this). #blunthonesty I used mine on Friday, the distance from downtown to FIU was only $34, to which I only paid $4 with the code I received from someone else. Go ahead and try it! Code: guke8 (The web link is above) #uber #freeride #code #give30get30 #miamiuber #carpool #lyft
People always find it strange when I say I have no sense of humor, since I am always making people laugh. What people don't understand is that my ability to make you laugh has nothing to do with my sense of humor. I make you laugh because I'm crazy, I have no filter, and I speak the shit others are thinking but won't say.

So, most of us claim that we want people to be honest with us. Honesty, after all, is the best policy, right? While we say things like “just be honest with me or tell me honesty what you think about…” But are we ready to hear the truth? When asked are we ready to tell the truth? I am a big fan of honesty, but I can honestly say, there are times that I am not ready to hear the truth. I don’t want to hear lies, I just may not want to hear anything. At those times, the honesty can sting a little but it is better than a sugarcoated answer. Other times blunt honesty has snapped me out of a funk or pulled me back on track. It can be jolting to run into a stranger who’s blunt, straightforward and honest. Today I was reminded of a few valuable lessons from a stranger I had only a few minutes to speak with who told it to me straight. In that short time, he reminded me in an unflinching way to set better boundaries with work, family, etc. He reminded that there are no good excuses for anything and he made me question and think about an entire different aspect of decision I am trying to make. His blunt honesty was very much needed today and for that I am thankful.
