Chat hear me out,

Pugsley noticed/remembered how happy Eugene was when he found that New England corpse moth in Slurp, so once holidays approached he decided to invite Eugene to the Addams Family Mansion.

Since they have been friends for some time now, Eugene decided to accept the invitation , not knowing Pugsley had planned something.

They arrive at the mansion, Pugsley shows him around etc.

Now, it‘s late at night when “suddenly“ Pugsley wants to show Eugene his family graveyard. Eugene is a bit nervous because normally, usually, he doesn‘t go to a graveyard at night.

They enter the graveyard when out of nowhere, Pugsley has a shovel. Eugene is taken by surprise, but he’s already suspecting what Pugsley is about to do. Before Pugsley can start grave-digging, Eugene whisper-yells at him to stop and ask, „What do you think you‘re doing?!“

Pugsley happily tells him about his childhood and how his family often used to go grave digging. After a lot more questions Eugene is finally reassured that everything is okay, therefore Pugsley can start digging.

Eugene, standing there awkwardly, asks if he should help Pugsley dig. Hearing that, Pugsley happily gets another shovel for Eugene and they both start digging.

Once they are done, Eugene looks at Pugsley and asks what they do now. Pugsley, now shyly looks away as he tells Eugene that he noticed how happy he was when finding that bug in Slurp, so he thought Eugene would like to check out some other corpses.

Eugene is speechless. Never in his life would he have expected to be in a situation like this. Admittedly, he was a bit weirded out, but seeing how Puglsey remembered such a small thing to the point he would do this, Eugene can‘t help but feel thrilled.

So both boys end up looking for bugs, and when they find one, Eugene is geeking out about them while Pugsley just looks at him like , „Yes, my super amazing smart boyfriend, tell me more.“

Lowkey, I don‘t know how Pugsley would react if Eugene would suggest helping him dig. One the one hand I think he‘d be excited that his friend would join him, but on the other hand I love to imagine Pugsley knowing that that‘s just an Addams thing, therefore Eugene suggesting such a thing would feel like a marriage proposal if you get what I mean.
