Pugsley would definitely be aware of his feelings if he had a crush on Eugene. At first he probably wouldn't notice them since they still have to develop more (afterall, you don't instantly notice you have a crush on someone, unless love at first sight ofc), but once these feelings are at a certain point he'd definitely notice them.
He wouldn't panic or be in denial during his realisation moment. Seeing who his parents are he knows such feelings a great thing, should be a great thing. Pugsley would feel slightly uneasy though. After all, Eugene is his first friend and they didn't start out great. He isn't stupid, it was obvious that at first Eugene didn't want to be friends with him. Although that changed now, Pugsley wouldn't want to risk losing his only friend, therefore he'd put these feelings aside.
Around Eugene he'd act like nothing is wrong. He would continue doing his things and if slip ups happened it would seem like normal Addams-family weirdness. When he's on his own though, he would imagine what a relationship with Eugene be like. What would they do together? How would it be? How would Eugene react to that?
Of course his thoughts wouldnât always happy. Sometimes heâd think about the outcomes that could come if he confessed. Those times were weird⌠Usually heâd enjoy the way his heart would ache or start speeding. However, it wasnât the case with these thoughts. They were unenjoyably painful, but supposedly thatâs normal. After all heâd hear his parents talk about their time apart for a million times and how unejoyable it was for them.
In the end, he's just a boy with a crush on his friend.
I've seen lots of fanficitions where Pugsley ends up being just like Gomez, I don't think that would be the case. He's not repulsed by his parents, but just like Wednesday we can see that it can be "akward".
Seeing that the Addams's aren't your typical family, as such not your typical teenagers, it is to be expected that he'd show his romance in a more unusal/weirder way, which could come from gomez to an extend, but again not completely.
Don't get me wrong though, I do enjoy reading the fanficitions in which Pugsley acts like Gomez, they are quite entertaining!
Aside from that, I'm happy to free this draft after being in drafts for 1 year.
