I saw Be More Chill in NYC on August 12th!!! It was so good!!!

The little changes (like this line) were such a pleasant surprise cause I went in pretty much blind, having only listened to the soundtrack beforehand.

- before ‘a guy that i’d kinda be into’ chloe talks to christine and yEETS HER BACKPACK OFF OF HER CHAIR AND I JUST—

- the new song, ‘loser, geek, or whatever’ was really fitting bc it was reasonable and made jeremy less of an asshole for the rest of the show bc of the reasoning behind the new song

- optic nerve blocking obliterated the entire audience and it was 10x more sinister (iMO)

- iN ‘THE SMARTPHONE HOUR/RICH SET A FIRE’ ALL THE MALE ACTORS DRESSED UP AS FEMALES AND WORE WIGS AND DANCED AROUND THE STAGE WITH JENNA CHLOE AND BROOKE IMWHEEZING

- cHOREOGRAPHY AND COSTUMES DURING PITIFUL CHILDREN 👌😤👌👌

- the lyric changes at the beginning of TPC was,, interesting

Well, folks, the summer has officially come to an end for me. I cannot believe that three months has come and gone so quickly! I not only got to work with some incredible, world-class guest artists but also two of the most incredible mentors a person could ask for. And what’s more is that I had no idea how quickly this place and these people would come to feel like a second home, and I’m going to cherish the time I had here for years to come

It’s surreal to me that I’m leaving Brevard Music Center’s campus for good–not running to Ingles for snacks or for Trivia Night at Dugan’s. I can’t wait to come back and be inspired by this community and this music. See you in 2019, BMC!

We had a great time at the post-concert reception on Sunday! It was a once-in-lifetime experience to sing in the chorus of Bernstein’s Mass with Maestro Keith Lockhart, the Janiec Opera Company, and tenor John McVeigh and it will be one I will never forget!

Congratulations to Maestro Ken Lam and the Brevard Sinfonia on their final performance of 2018 with Invoke String Quartet and “Pictures at an Exhibition.” It was a fantastic performance and I enjoyed every moment. I can’t wait to hear what’s in store for Brevard Sinfonia in 2019!
