It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here// Started my second degree in my program: Biomedical engineering. It’s been a hectic first two weeks of school, and there is no time for playing around. I’m in circuits right now, and it’s one of the classes I really want to do well in because I suck at circuits. Current-ly (hahaha) working on a cheat sheet/ mind map sorta thing. Along with circuits, I’m taking intro to biomedical engineering (a hellish weed out class), biomaterials, and survey of organic chemistry. My intro to bmed is the most unnecessarily toughest class this semester… actually in my whole college career. I dread it, but if I want this degree - I gotta work for it. Teach Grant

So people came around class wanting people to join the S.T.E.M. Teach program and it sounded beneficial but like what happens after you’re done teaching the four required years, how would the transition from teacher to engineer work? Wish they made that more clear now I gotta hunt someone down for questions.

I am in need of a vacation.

I've spent every weekend so far doing 12+ hours of homework and/or studying.

It's not because I just didn't do the homework during the week.

My professors actually "space out" their assignments and quizzes.

Which means I have things due at the beginning of the week, that were assigned at the end of the week.

But it's usually too much to handle during the week, in addition to keeping up with all of the material.

So the weekend really are just days to catch up and do homework on.

Phooey.

Okay so the Update Post hasn't come yet

I'm just super busy this weekend. Here is what I've done this weekend so far:

Go to half a football game where we destroyed the other team (70-0)

Leave football game halfway because it was way too hot and was about to pass out from the heat

Go to my brothers

Spent a lot of money at Target on things I need for my kitchen

Hang out with brother and his friends, including board games and dinner

Started watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer (decided not to do ANY work yesterday)

Went to lunch with brother today

Went to Super H Mart & Target -- spent a lot more money on things that I need for my kitchen

Went to cookout hosted by neighborhood (met the neighbors. They are nice people)

Play a few games of King of Tokyo with brother and more friends

Went through 138 pages of Systems Physiology

Now here is what I need to finish this weekend. Just in terms of homework as an example of what is kind of normal for my classes:

60 more pages of Systems Physiology (there is a quiz on Tuesday)

Catch up on a week's worth of Differential Equations (I've been sick)

AIL for BMED 1300

Extensive research on Chest X-Rays

Jazz up my Resume for the Resume Blitz on Tuesday

Finish my section for my Grand Challenges group paper

Other stuff that I'll remember later

Labor Day = Day for a lot of labor.
