You roll your eyes and go to put the cat ears on his head, but he doesn't bend down so you have to stand on your tiptoes. But this brings your faces dangerously close to each other, and when you realize that, you stumble back and your drink spills on you.
“Fuck. Now I look like an idiot.” You lament. Why the fuck were you so embrassing? And to do this in front of Sunghoon too? As if you weren’t suffering enough.
But then Sunghoon does something that stuns you. He turns his drink upside down, spilling it all over himself. You gape at him, “What the fuck? Why did you do that?”
He shrugs. “Now we both look like idiots. Strength in numbers.”

Ahhh bmit chap 5 😭❤️❤️ Jake is such a scumbag damn. I really love how you write dark side of human. To the point even the mastermind Sunghoon’s plan doesn’t seem that bad anymore. Like he just used Jake’s dark side and he doesn’t even have to do much anymore. This literally depicts how toxic relationships works. Partners bringing the worst out of each other. In my country, there is a saying “it takes 2 palms to make a clapping sound” which is kinda victim blaming at times but this is perfect for Jake and Sunghoon. His plans wouldn’t have succeed if Jake wasn’t such pathetic pimp who sold out his bff for a dick.

offf I actually had a much darker plan for sunghoon that i didn't go through with because it required much more writing and working out the kinks and I can't invest that much time into writing rn but basically it does like this:
the photo booth was actually taking pictures. sunghoon confesses to oc that he loves her and they have the talk about jake but she doesn't believe him. they go to pick jake up who hasn't woken up and sunghoon drops her home. she stays away from them for some time to think things through and jake comes to visit her and he's like 'why are you so distant?' and she tries to kiss him but he rejects her because 'oh we can't do this without sunghoon' and she just explodes at him and asks him if he ever really loved her and he doesn't say anything and she tells him to leave
sunghoon comes to visit her and is like "forget about him. you have me." but she rejects him and says she only ever got into the relationship for jake and that she still loves him and if she dates sunghoon she'll lose him and she doesn't want that. sunghoon is pissed she's still prioritizing jake over him and leaves
oc and jake tentatively try to rebuild their friendship. things are awkward but they're trying. until one day she comes back to her dorm to see jake waiting for her. he throws the polaroids of her kissing sunghoon at her and calls her a backstabbing bitch and reveals everything to her. she throws him out of her dorm and breaks down
sunghoon comes to visit her shortly after as he jake had fought with him too. he comforts oc and she reluctantly forgives him but unbeknownst to her, sunghoon had intentionally gotten jake drunk at the karaoke bar because he knew he'd slip if he drank and he also was the one to intentionally leave out the polaroids so that jake would see them and explode at OC so he'd ruin their friendship and have no reason not to date sunghoon anymore

that was the grand plan and now I'm sad I didn't have the energy to write it 😔but it's the sunghoon i imagined from the start. now he doesn't seem so bad or calculating and people are misjudging him
