Chapter 261- Thoughts

Well, feels like Horikoshi sensei has been listening to our pleas for a strong female character as we’ve been blessed with some great Miruko content. (Or he’s just doing himself a favour with some thighrapy) Her design is amazing, she has absolutely kickass moves and a ferocity that makes Bakugou look like a tame little kitten. The bunny hero totally redeemed bunny-costumes in my mind. And she’s kicking butt with a smile. 

For some reason, I really loved this short little exchange between her and Endeavor - it just feels like some of the most notorious loners of the Top 10 have come to an understanding about teamwork.

Yep. So Endeavor’s group is held up by a bunch of discount-nomus, while Miruko is all alone in the doctor’s lab, trying to make sure the evil spawn won’t escape. 

Between lots of shots of Mirko’s very-very toned body (I need to hit the gym, stat), we get some crucial exposition:

1. The hospital is now fully evacuated.

2. Crust is down in the tunnels and sees Chekhov’s escape routes to the surface. 

Also, the No. 6. hero’s quirk looks really cool. Sort of like Kirishima’s and TetsuTetsu’s secret love-uncle.

The most disturbing panels though concern Ujiko. He first grieves for little Johnny-chan and we think - wow, the guy maybe evil, but has feelings. 

Then we learn it was his actual friend whom he turned into that - and wow - that’s just beyond fucked-up (also, he’s clutching two quirks... I wonder what are in those vials - maybe AFO? - take a note peeps - Chekhov’s vials)

Yep. This guy is just evil as fuck. 

So after Johnny-chan, Mirko takes out another cute little mini-nomu named Mocha, who has Twice’s quirk and is trying to save the evil doctor. It is just so incredibly sad how these little abominations have more humanity than the guy who created them. 

Anyways. RIP Mocha. 

This intervention is enough to get five High-End Nomus out. We get a long thighposition exposition about how these nomus are not quite as high-end as Hood (the one Endeavor and Hawks fought) since they are not fully cooked, plus not yet stabilized. Also, how inconvenient it is that AFO is in prison.

Anyway, they should be enough fodder to entertain the heroes letting Doctor and Shiggy escape - thusly goes the evil plan. 

So it’s two weeks break and we are left with a bit of a cliffy (again): Crust has reached the lab and is ready to fight a high-end (a chatty one).

Whooo boy!!!! (She is hardcore).

Predictions:

Miruko and Crust will survive (Endeavor may get in here for a last minute save to return the favour to Miruko

The doctor will escape with Shiggy

Maybe some High-Ends will make it to the surface so the students can have a bit of action too.
