As an adult she knew better, and as she watched the darkened streets below she could see the flicker of movement from a person, another stalking the night for pray. The worst circumstances became across the world, the more monsters crept from the woodwork. Except these monsters were little more than people, humans given the option and ability to harm and destroy. Eddie shook her head lightly at the thought, arms moving to rest upon bent knees. In the past, even the low building's height would be enough to spook her. Now? Every so often she'd feel the leap of her heart in her chest, but intrigue of her new angle overrode fear. The woman paused suddenly, head turning slightly and gaze flicking to the corners of her eyes. In the silence she had heard the footsteps, but glancing there was nothing. Like a ghost. Eddie knew a stranger sitting at the edge of a building could be construed as odd or suspicious, likely garnering unwanted attention. Whatever attention this was already proved much more interesting than watching dangerous people creeping around below. "Ya don't need ta hide from me, ya know. At this rate you're at an advantage anyway... unless that was your intent?" she asked, raising a questioning brow at supposedly empty space.
