“Hmm, we just dropped out of superspace,” Curtis said.
“How can you tell?” Bobby asked. “There aren’t any windows in here.”
“You can feel it in the ship, if you’re paying attention,” Curtis said.
“So, where are we supposed to be, anyway?” Bobby asked. “That lady on the intercom said for everyone to report to their stations.”
“My job here is infiltration and such. I’m not here for the running of a starship, and as for you, you’re just supposed to stay out of the way.”
“No, I’m here to fight alongside you.”
“That’s not going to happen.”
“You’ve been training me for a while now,” Bobby said. “How many people on this ship do you think can stop me from joining any away missions?”
“I mean, myself, for one,” Curtis said.
“Yeah, but that’ll distract you from doing it yourself, and I can’t imagine you want that.”
“Fine, follow me and we’ll get you ready for what we’ll be up against.”
