I've been MIA from social media because the Death of one of my heroes has gotten me torn. Every time I look at social media its flooded with tributes to the greatest man that #Allah has blessed this world to know. I am glad I tapped in today because as I scrolled through the tributes today I came across this article that @koolandthegang posted about my grandfather boxer #BobbyBell. He was honored for his achievements in boxing and got to meet with #muhammadali . I am so saddened by the news that he has passed. I wish I could have met him. The closest I got was his star on the #hollywoodwalkoffame , which by the way is the only one not on the ground because he wanted to respect the man whom he was named after the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him). Muhammad Ali was one of the two Black #Muslim that I looked to for inspiration (The other obviously is Brother Malcolm) His famous phrases, fighting style, and political movement will never be forgotten. In some ways I think that Ali was a Prophet for the people. He set the standard for black Muslim men everywhere. He has touched the souls of people around the world and he will truly be missed. Thank you for your bravery King Ali. Well at least my grandpa got to shake your hand and since I am an extension of my grandfather I feel like I got to shake his hand too ☺️. Float like a butterfly sting like a bee, they'll never be a man prettier than King Ali! May Allah bless you with a high place in paradise. Rest in power to both my Grandfather Bobby Bell and the GOAT Muhammad Ali.
