A while back, while my partner and I were out of town, we talked about how great it would be to have a service that offers companion animals/pets while you’re on vacation. We really just wanted dog cuddles at the end of the day, but our dogs are *not* air travel-compatible. We stayed in two places in Mexico this year, both jungle retreats on @airbnb with dogs on the premises, and both times it was fantastic. This little lady escorted me back and forth across a creek at night and kept an eye on us while we stayed on the premises. My upcoming watercolor workshop in Boca De Tomatlán, Mexico will take place March 30 - April 6. This will be my third year teaching at Casa De Los Artistas and the experience is inexplicable. The painting studio overlooks the ocean. The atmosphere is relaxing and conducive to tapping into a deeper level of creativity. There will be day trips which include shopping and gallery visits in Puerto Vallarta, plein air painting at a botanical garden and a picnic at a private beach.
