Bocas Del Toro, day three: Red Frogs Beach
Bocas del Toro, day two: snorkeling in Cayo Coral
Tobias Buckell took a photo of me pre-dinner (taken from his marvellous post-with-pics on Bocas), I was about to sip some 21 year old El Dorado rum. Yes, I drank it neat. The piña colada is his. He had a laugh about how he had the ‘girly’ drink and I had the ‘manly’ one – according to some cultures at least!
Day Three of #Bocas2015, with more literary luminaries (Derek Walcott! Linton Kwesi Johnson! Olive Senior!) and some SF readings and discussion with R.S.A. Garcia, Tobias Buckell, Nalo Hopkinson and me.
Tobias does a great recap of the Bocas Lit Fest. I used to do summary blog posts like this. I did one for my previous Bocas. But for this Bocas, I tried to focus on on-the-spot reporting, and now I’m just pointing to other people’s awesome blog posts and pics :)
From Jacqueline’s literary blog. Now this is how you enjoy a literary festival! It was such a pleasure to meet you and chat with you, Jacqueline!
Check out the whole album of Day One #Bocas2015 events. Literary luminaries of the Caribbean appear. I’m in there too.
