Body B

Life on Earth is getting unfeasible. Luckily, scientists have everything planned and everyone who wants to can go to the Planet B once they're twenty-five years old. They only have to connect with the Body B they have created for them. However, when Chris goes to get her Body B, she realizes there has been a really big mistake. And they'll need one month to fix it. An intriguing science fiction story that treats topics such as environment, gender identity and how to deal with the unexpected.

Phew, it's been a wild ride, but it's finally done! Last year, I woke up from a really vivid dream. Not only that: it gave me the inspiration for a story... a totally bonkers story.

I hope every writer has one of those and I'm pretty sure mine was fueled by one year of therapy and my whole reality crushing around me. Writing has always been a refuge for me, a way to escape my life and ponder on what's troubling me.

This time, I was able to talk about stuff I don't usually write but I had to dedicate a special part to Gingaria, of course. I just had to get this story out of my chest, no matter what. And now that it's done... I still can't believe it. I hope you like it!

So, I've spent the last few weeks revising my book Body B. I've made some changes over the years, but the biggest one has been replacing the last part (a reference index) with questions and ideas to discuss the themes of the book.

After I was done with the Spanish version, I decided to take a look at the English version. And, oh, my. I know I translated it in a hurry (I tried not to, but I rushed anyway) and there were a lot of mistakes. I'm sorry for that. This is still a one-woman show and I'm doing my best (especially with how hard life has been lately).
