Pattern deciphering:
disclaimer: I have no idea what I'm doing
The pattern I'm using can be found here, and will create a doll that looks like this:

Onto the pattern deciphering:
All edges/corners that I know to go together (from scraping through the creator's twitter) have been marked with a roman numeral and/or a colored pen. I have labeled what each part is, and how many pieces to cut. Note that the lines indicate where to sew, and not where to cut. A 1/4 inch seam allowance should be added to each side. If adding hair, the "back of head" panel should be made using the hair fabric.
As for the face, the line penciled in provides an approximation of where both the hairline should end to make room for the ears, and for where the eyes should go. The circle indicates where the mouth should go as well.
I am still unsure to as how exactly the head fits together (I thought I was supposed to make 2 "back of head" panels but another pattern reference said 1???), but I'll find out as soon as my fabric markers come in, and I can make a test doll.
