Wife of Late Country Singer Claims the Unusual Way Authorities Found Her Husband’s Body is a Sign
More details about Craig Strickland, the country singer whose body was found a week after his boat capsized during a hunting trip, are coming to light.

According to TMZ, Helen Strickland, Craig’s wife, tells the entertainment news site that it was the way her husband’s body was discovered that helped her feel at peace.
“They found him lying in the shape of a cross looking up to his Father,” she tells TMZ. “I know he found Jesus at that moment.”
Helen, a former Miss Arkansas USA, also revealed her husband’s cause of death: Hypothermia.

And I want to thank everyone for all the love, kind words and support they have sent to our family. Thank you for continuing to pray without stopping. It has been reported that Craig was able to crawl up the embankment of Kaw Lake and out of the water.
“Craig did not suffer, and did not feel pain. He just fell asleep.”
The former pageant queen also posted an agonizingly sweet message on her Instagram.
On the day of our wedding Craig had me watch a video he had made to tell me how much he loved me. I am so thankful for technology in this moment because I will always have this. I watched this privately prior to walking down the aisle, and so now I want to share this small excerpt with all of you. Thank you @stylistmeganfarmer for helping him make this. I will cherish it for ever. “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Psalms 116:15” Thank you Lord for sharing #craigstrickland with me. You allowed me to borrow him on this earth, but he was always Yours. I will forever cherish our year of marriage. This was truly the type of man you were and will always be remembered as. Craig’s friend, Chase Morland, who was also on the boat, was found deceased on December 29; Craig’s dog, who was found alive, was watching over his body.
