The sign itself isn’t ominous without the story that accompanies it. This is on a remote road in a Canadian provincial park close to my parents’ cabin. It was put up by the local cottage owners’ association after some idiot (me; it was me) managed to get run over by their own vehicle in an unfortunate truck v. icy road situation last winter.

The fact that I earned my very own sign feels special. It’s the only sign of its kind in the area.
