I am Reza and I am a research scholar. I am so excited to start this blog because it is my first ever blog and existence in the online world. I am a foreign student in India, I lived here for a long time now … Sometimes I even feel I am an Indian. :-)
A few months back I visited my home. It’s been a few years since I met my family. During my stay, I noticed something about people there. Some of them haven’t changed. Sure, they grew older physically but mentally, psychologically, and as a person, they were the same as before. They told the same stories, they liked the same old stuff, they complained about the same old problems … they were stagnated … I felt (after years of being apart) I haven’t missed much … with them, It was like time was frozen. It made me wonder why they haven’t improved! Why they do not try to explore the world! why they haven’t worked on themselves to change their situation!…
It scares me shitless when I imagine myself like those time frozen people. I want to grow up and expand each day. Be a different person each day. To me the world by itself is meaningless. To find our life’s meaning and purpose we should be curious and explore. I believe the best place to start is by exploring ourselves. From there we can start our journey by taking different paths…
