If you're in the area, check out the "Aaron LaCrate: Just a Kid from Highlandtown” exhibit at the Creative Alliance in Baltimore, Maryland. The exhibit explores the area's history of skateboarding, graffiti, and DJ culture.
A photo I took while working on a story for The Baltimore Sun is featured in the exhibition. Also, Aaron LaCrate, a music producer, DJ, and fashion designer, teamed up with artist Michael Owen to create a mural across the street from the Creative Alliance. They used my photo in the mural!
Here are a few other photographs that were published alongside The Baltimore Sun article about “Milk Squad,” the Baltimore-based skateboarding crew. (The link to the article is: http://www.baltimoresun.com/features/bs-ae-street-skateboarders-20160720-story.html)
Feel free to watch the video I made as well!
