Changing the Frat (Part 1)
**This story is a spinoff of ViceVersa's SwitchControl **
Evan had told himself that joining a fraternity would change things for him in college. He was eighteen, freshly moved into his dorm, out to his friends back home, and tired of always hovering on the edge of things. He wasn’t scrawny—he lifted a little, ran a few miles a week—but standing in the Sigma house made him feel invisible.
Every guy around him looked like they’d been copy-pasted: thick necks, loud laughs, protein shakers permanently glued to their hands. They talked about bench numbers like they were SAT scores. They skipped class like it was a sport. They flirted with girls constantly, even when the girls looked bored.
Evan laughed at the right moments. He nodded when he didn’t care. He studied alone at night while the rest of them shouted through beer-pong tournaments downstairs. No one was outright cruel—just dismissive. “Yo bro, you gotta stop reading all them books.” one of the brothers had said, clapping his shoulder. “Start lifting, maybe you’ll finally get laid.”
That night, Evan wandered off campus, headphones in, frustration buzzing under his skin. He didn’t want to be them—he just wanted to fit. To stop feeling like he was pretending to be someone’s version of a “frat guy.” That’s when he saw the box. It sat tucked between a closed vape shop and a darkened smoothie place, glowing under a flickering streetlight like it had been placed there deliberately. Bright red. Pristine. Untouched by dust or weather. The front read, in bold white lettering:
“Change Yourself In Ways You Could Only Imagine With SwitchControl.”
Evan frowned. He picked it up. It was heavier than it looked. Inside, everything was neatly arranged:
A folded instruction manual
And a device that looked almost like a brand-new Android phone, all sharp edges and glossy black glass, its back the same impossible red as the box
No fingerprints. No scratches. Like it had been waiting.
He should’ve walked away. He knew that. Instead, he turned it on. The screen lit up instantly.
A white loading symbol spun once, then resolved into a simple message “The choice is yours. Click here to start.” His thumb hovered. His heart kicked up, stupid and fast. This is ridiculous, he thought. This is exactly the kind of thing I’d warn myself about. He tapped anyway. The screen shifted to a clean, minimal menu. Four options, each glowing faintly as he scrolled.
SwitchControl – Select Function
Traditional Swap - Two individuals swap bodies and are aware of the changes.
Swap with Reality Shift - Two individuals swap bodies, but everyone around them (including the swapped individual) believes nothing has changed.
Reverse Role Swap - The individual you swap bodies with believes they are you and forgets their previous life.
Personality Change - Type in new traits to add to an individual’s personality.
All swaps are reversible. See Reverse Screen for details.
Evan stared at his reflection in the dark glass of the device—his own face, thoughtful, uncertain, already tired of trying to squeeze himself into a shape that didn’t quite fit. He swallowed.
For the first time since pledging, he didn’t feel powerless. He felt… curious.
Evan leaned back against the cool brick wall and stared at the glowing screen. If this thing was real—if—then it could do more than just help him fit in. At first, the obvious thought had hit him like a cliché: He could become one of them. Bigger. Dumber. Straighter. Louder. The kind of guy who never worried about grades because he assumed life would work itself out. The image left a sour taste in his mouth. That wasn’t him. And worse—he didn’t actually want it. What he wanted was for them to change.
The idea slid into place so smoothly it startled him. He could use Personality Change.
Make them care about school. Make them stop pretending masculinity meant ignorance.
Maybe even make some of them gay… or at least bi. The frat house would still be full of muscles and loud voices—but suddenly Evan wouldn’t be the only one sneaking off to study. Wouldn’t be the only one looking at guys instead of girls. Wouldn’t be other. And yeah—he admitted it to himself—he liked muscles. He liked the confidence, the way those bodies took up space. If he wanted that for himself, Swap with Reality Shift was right there. He could step into a better body and no one would question it. No awkward explanations. No sudden “bro, what happened to you?” conversations.
The possibilities really were endless. Too endless. Which made the doubt creep back in. This can’t be real, he thought. Stuff like this doesn’t just fall into your lap. That was when a shadow crossed the sidewalk. Evan looked up—and felt his stomach tighten. Kyle. Six-foot-two, thick arms, permanent smirk. His Big. The guy who was supposed to mentor him, protect him during pledging. Instead, Kyle treated him like a joke. Like a punching bag that laughed politely enough to make it socially acceptable. Kyle never did it in front of the other brothers. He was smarter than that. A shove here. A whispered insult there. Calling Evan “dead weight” or “house pet” with a grin, daring him to react. The only reason Kyle had picked him as a Little was because it gave him cover.
Kyle walked past, barely glancing at Evan, like he wasn’t even worth acknowledging. Something in Evan’s chest snapped—not loudly, not dramatically. Just a clean, sharp break. His eyes dropped back to the screen.
Reverse Role Swap - The individual you swap bodies with believes they are you and forgets their previous life.
By doing this, Kyle would become Evan and think he’s always been Evan. And Evan… he could ruin Kyle’s reputation. He didn’t hesitate a second long. He selected that option, entered Kyle’s name and confirmed his choice. Everything went black.
When Evan came to, he immediately knew it worked. He could feel the weight of Kyle’s muscles and his newfound height. He looked around and saw his old body, just walking by like nothing happened.
Evan hurried back to the frat house and into Kyle’s room. He immediately stripped and explored his new body. He rubbed his hands up and down his body and was amazing by the feeling of his thick pecs and hard washboard abs. What surprised him the most, however, was that Kyle’s cock was pretty small. Kyle always bragged about his massive cock, but it turned out he was exaggerating. It was barely even 3 inches. This secret was how he was going to embarrass Kyle.
That night, the frat was throwing the first frat party of the season. Evan decided he would use the party as the time to act. During the party, Evan approached Ricky, the chapter leader, and said, “Ricky, you up for a game? Loser has to streak across campus.” Ricky, always up for a challenge, replied, “Hell yeah, bro. I hope you’re ready to show everyone that massive cock we always hear so much about.” Evan laughed to himself, knowing that everyone was about to see the truth.
After 10 minutes, Ricky beat Evan in a landslide. Evan kept to the bet and stripped down. At first, it was completely silent. Then, a few people gasped in shock, some laughed, and others whispered to the people closest to them. Evan heard things like: “Bro that things are so small.” “No girl is ever gonna want to sleep with him.” “How embarrassing.”
Evan decided it was time to return to his own body. He opened the SwitchControl and undid the swap. Suddenly, he was back in his own body, sitting on the couch, beer in hand. That’s when he heard a bunch of screaming across the house. It was Kyle. “Why am I naked? How did I get here? Someone get me my clothes! Stop staring before I make you!” Everyone else was laughing endlessly. Evan sat back, smirking, thinking to himself, tomorrow, we start making this place better.
