My nano bog riparium is coming along. I haven’t set up a new aquarium in almost a decade.

Sand base. I fucked up putting the backing on but we don’t need to talk about that.

General wood arrangement. Getting an idea of how I want everything before I start attaching plants and putting the planting basket in. Limiting the hardscape to wood this time, no stones or pebbles.

These are all bits of driftwood that survived much larger centerpieces. They’ve been stored in established tanks for years so they are well-colonized with beneficial bacteria.

The Java moss clump in the corner is just hanging out.

....And custom hanging basket is in. Still deciding what to plant in it. Something small that likes low light and wet feet.

Pardon the huge-ass glare. I’m having issues deciding how to place and position that piece of driftwood in the center. It’s the only new piece, and it looks so different from the others.

Eh, I’ll figure something out.
