#NPD New Pedal Day. I have been blessed this week from the tone gods/goddesses. @rabbitholefx Zero booster. As some know I use pedals with internal charge pumps (18v+) to hit the front ends of my amplifiers in to oblivion. (#JCM800 +#BognerXtc & a #Plexi). This guy not only gives just the right amount of push, but it works amazing with a lower/medium gain setting. Another thing this excels at where others fall short, is using this on Bass in to a DI.. not driving it, but just for a slight enhancement. That is exactly what I am doing today. This has a permanent spot in my studio setup. ..and she red plated on me! Only 3x in my life have I had this happen. It sounds like radio interference mixed with a jet plane coming through your speakers when a tube does this. The Bogner Ecstasy 101b head is seriously the most versatile, yet reliable amplifier I have ever used. 9 countries later, and purchased in 2004. Mid night Noodling sloppily on my newly made neck pickups. Hard to fit the best of it in one minute! Rest will be on YouTube. Introducing the HomeWrecker/JHD #Valentina. This is my answer to a PAF/T-TOP/Super 70s pickup. It’s not a replica. Playing through a #BognerXtc and my ESP custom. I just channeled influences in to something original. Very excited. Sound is through my iPhone 7. I will do a proper 57 or iRig mic recording. This pickup is the answer to fixing boomy neck pickups. Very beautiful feminine quality, that you’ll have to have to experience yourself. More to come. Messy work bench. Between fixing instruments, winding pickups and recording sessions. Here is a collaboration with my brother from another mother @thekeviano These are just my absolute 1st rhythm takes/test. Seeing where it sits in the mix before I adjust/re track/settle tonally. The Russian Bigmuff tracks incredible. Also my time using this Blue 100i mic. Sounds huge in person. And my amp isn’t cranked very loud. Video obviously makes things a little trebly.
