Get Stoked for Moonrise Festival!
Written by Steve Ketchen
On April 16th, 2013, Steez Promo announced the final lineup for the first-ever Moonrise Festival, a new, highly anticipated summer event created by Steez Promo and held in Baltimore’s Sun Park, June 8-9, 2013. Headlining the two-day festival are world-renowned Pretty Lights and Snoop Dogg, aka Snoop Lion. Over fifty additional artists were unveiled, including names like Nero, Flux Pavillion, Paul van Dyk, Excision, Lotus, and Datsik, to name a few. In addition, a slew of up-and-coming trap artists will captivate audiences; Brillz, Bro Safari, ETC! ETC!, and Flosstradamus promise to make Baltimore this summer’s EDM destination. One of Moonrise’s capital highlights will be the Century Wheel LED: a huge, LED lit Ferris Wheel, on which concertgoers can view the performances from great heights, encapsulated within a light show of their own.
Fans of Moonrise Festival showed their unfiltered excitement following the lineup announcements online. A look at the #MoonriseFestival hashtag on Twitter will show thousands of dubstep, trap, and trance fans giving praise to their favorite artists, from Borgore to Krewella to Gramatik, with almost every artist in the lineup represented. On the official Moonrise Festival Facebook page, the excitement abounded as interviews, highlights, and artist introductions built huge hype for even newer names on the list.
Tickets, information, and the full lineup for Moonrise Festival 2013 can be seen at moonrisefestival.com.
