he remembers everything up to the end of season five. season six is so </3 gotta do that real time. also he can’t know he was basically blacklisted yet sir it’s too early for that.

he’s HUMAN now. he’s also missing some fairly imperative memories, but that’s all i can think of AT THIS MOMENT.

I DO NOT CONDONE BOJACK’S ACTIONS. i’ve always simply thought he would be really interesting to play with the generational themes and his constant running in circles (reference intended if you have watched). outside of that, entp, 7w8!
also i am!! very tired right now so i can edit this and give a better rundown later but basically: bojack was born to beatrice sugarman and butterscotch horseman. they were both neglectful at best and abusive at worst (but like... he’s under the Hilariously Abusive Childhood trope on tvtropes for a reason... like they’re quite outlandish most of the time). he moved to los angeles and eventually became the star of the tv show horsin’ around (80s-90s family sitcom formula, played the main character “the horse”). that was cancelled and he became a has-been. throw in some drug abuse and alcoholism with a healthy side of mental illness and this comedic horse got dark.
