Birth arrived faster than anticipated, and after a grueling 18 hours in labor, she welcomed her first child. Aiden Ross Keiser.

The third trimester approached quickly, and Ellyn found herself in labor after a long day at work. Thankfully, she had Bo to thank, and he was the support she needed. From cuddles on the couch, back massages, and encouraging her to work and walk to make the birth easier - he earned the gold medal for being a birth partner. Ellyn did not take this for granted, she was grateful and felt lucky to have such an amazing partner by her side.

"I meant it when I said I would love you till the very end and I was in this for life... now will you give me the chance to prove it to you every single day of our lives?" Bo took Ellyn on a date after they found out the gender of their baby, and proposed. He knew she was the one since the first day.

This pregnancy brought big changes and excitement. They had the first ultrasounds, Bo moved in with Ellyn, they built the nursery nook, and discovered they were having a boy.

Pregnancy wasn’t what she expected but it happened and now she had to deal with the consequences. Ellyn spiraled trying to decipher if Bo would be supportive or if he would just leave her with the issue on her hands. Despite not feeling ready to have a child, she decided she would have the child no matter his reaction. This was unplanned but she felt prepared to be a mom. Regardless, she spiraled and couldn’t find the words to say to him or how to break the news. Ellyn opted for a small box with all the pregnancy tests she took. She texted Bo asking him to come over for dinner and after the two shared a delicious meal she handed him a box. Bo reached over to the present being handed, confused yet excited for what would come, staring into Ellyn’s eyes. “A present?” he said excitedly, and Ellyn nodded slowly to reassure him that the present was for him. “Let’s see what’s inside…” he softly stated, as he opened the blue box with the ribbon. His eyes widened; no words were escaping his lips as he stared at the contents inside the box. “We’re having a baby?” he said, eyesight lifting to stare into her hazel eyes and a smile adoring his lips. “YOU… YOU ARE PREGNANT?” he continued, placing the box on the countertop and smiling widely. “YES! I am!!” she replied excitedly, he wrapped his arms around her to give her a tight hug and spun her around. “We are having a baby!!!!” he continued. The excitement was palpable, very obvious on his face and he couldn’t contain his excitement. “I love you…” he confessed, and she replied, "I love you too.” And it seemed like their fate was sealed together.
