American Pharoah, America’s Champion Two-Year-Old of 2014, returned to racing at Oaklawn and won the Rebel Stakes with style by eight lengths - despite losing a shoe. Regular partner Victor Espinoza (blue/yellow silks) was on board. 14 March 2015.
Madefromlucky and John Velazquez finished second, Bold Conquest and Ricardo Santana (yellow cap) third. Full result here.

Bold Conquest and Money Changer entered into a heated stretch duel, which the former one by a head to break his maiden at Saratoga.
Carpe Diem, with John Velazquez, ran brilliant in the Breeders' Futurity at Keeneland on Saturday 4 October 2014, winning by 6 1/4 lengths.
He, as of 4 October, is unbeaten in two starts, having won his maiden in gate-to-wire style at Saratoga in early September.
Mr. Z and Jon Court finished second, Bold Conquest and Rosie Napravnik 5 3/4 lengths further back in third.
