The stench of the sewer had been overpowering. Not the worst spot she’s had to search for an artifact, but far from ideal. Unfortunately Aletheia had been certain the piece of Eden would be here. Maláka! Kassandra very shallow water, uttering a silent prayer that it wouldn’t leave her boots permanently smelling awful. She liked these boots. It wasn’t the worst situation, nor grossest she’d been in, but in all her many, many years, she’d still rather be somewhere else. “It’s not that I’m doubting your information... but did it have to be a sewer?” She waited silently for Aletheia to give her usual straight forward answer, ignoring her sass as usual, but instead she was greeted by a feeling that she was no longer alone. Instinctually, she began to reach for her sword, dipping further into the shadows to see who was joining her beneath the city streets.
@boldfrye asked: ❛❛ Your hair’s soft… I just want to pet it until I forget everything but how soft it is… ❜❜ SAD &. SOFT SENTENCE STARTERS.
had jacob been speaking all this time ? they’re unsure, and frankly, wouldn’t be able to give an answer either way ; the only thing the rook could process was delicate fingers, contrasted with their overall view of jacob, being raked through short hair, and the way the action soothed all feelings. it had also, apparently, caused danny to temporarily phase out of their current environment - the vibrations of the train running its course didn’t help either. tranquil. that’s how they thought.
body draped over jacob’s with limbs splayed out in every direction it’s almost a wonder how the two could fit on the small sofa together. completely absent minded from it all, a few moments of silence passes before a gentle hum of affection responds. ❛ no argument from me, boss. ❜ follows their quiet murmur with a satisfied sloppy smile to compliment it.
evie or cirilla starter call -- @boldfrye .
“ I have decided, my dear brother, that I couldn’t allow you to do this alone. ” Evie’s sass is so flat, but what makes it eerie is that her words come from seemingly nowhere. At least to anyone else. A disembodied voice, just suddenly. It’s Evie’s specialty, after all. A few seconds after she speaks she makes an appearance. She lands almost silently right next to Jacob, just the simple click of heels -- anyone else that heard it would have already been dead or in trouble. She stands next to him like she’s just always been standing there, maybe she was spying.
“ Do you have a plan? ”

❝ THIS IS SO DISGUSTING. ❞ large mug was held with both hands, nose scrunching from the bitter taste of the alcohol that she just drank. She made a face and stuck her tongue out, practically shuddering. It was one of those so bad it’s kinda good things. ❝ Can I get another one ? ❞
@boldfrye said: "So, Miss Good Templar. Have you met the British Order already?"
Élise can’t help but chuckle a bit at these words. Of course, her first reaction, in this new era, was to try to meet the Templars in charge. But that meeting disappointed her so damn much. She has HOPED for better. She has always wanted peace between the two factions, but Starrick and the other Templars in London are just other versions of Germain. They want to control the people by fear.
“Of course I did.” She replies, keeping a smirk on her features. “It didn’t go well, though. They remember me of my enemies, quite a lot. I’m not sure I could ever stand those guys.”

❝ WERE YOU ALWAYS THIS SLOW ? ❞ she teased with a grin, tapping the brick chimney of the building they were on that was mentally marked as the finish line for a rooftop race. ❝ I win. Again. ❞
Hey.
Dweeb.
