A Queens man charged with plotting an ISIS-inspired knife or bomb attack was arrested on Thursday. The DOJ announced the arrest of Awais Chudhary, 19, on Friday. He is a Pakistani-born naturalized citizen (Daily Mail). He is charged with providing material support to a foreign terror organization, and is being held without bail. If convicted, he faces 20 years in federal prison.

Today was a bomb alarm at my school

When my friend and I came to school today, there was a lot of police. We didn't know why, my friend said as a joke "Probably a bomb" and we went to the school next to ours since we had our lessons there today.

At 8am our teacher didn't come. The principal of the school we were in said there's a bomb alarm at our school and our teacher can't come.

So we were waiting, searching in google for what happened. The police got a call at 3am where someone said he will bring a bomb to my school. The fuck.

Alright, we went down to the street, some of us were smoking. Policecars were in front of the school, policemen with dogs going in and out. They were searching for the bomb.

After some time our teacher finally came. He told us that they have the voice of the guy on the phone and try to analyze it, all teachers have to listen to it for the identification. They have a thought who is it, but nothing is sure yet.

Gladly, the police didn't find anything like a bomb. Still it was super scary. Our teachers said it's probably someone who didn't want to write an essay today. Sick world.
