Recently I was explaining to my mom the problem I have (as many of you well know) with halloween decoration skeleton animals having bone ears, and she was really quick to suggest that “maybe they’re still decaying and the ear flesh hasn’t gone away yet”. And trust me, that’s a lie I’ve told myself many a time trying to just accept it and move on, but I know that’s not what the designers intended. Still, I want it known that I appreciate my mother for indulging my erratic bullshit nonsense and sympathizing enough to offer a creative suggestion for coping.
