cao mun gai
Today marks the third day in a row of me staying indoors all day due to rainy weather + being sick. Today's cooking adventure was my second attempt at making my mom's cao mun gai. Over the winter break she cooked it again just so I could watch and learn her secret recipe. I forgot to buy celery and didn't realize we didn't have jasmine rice, but overall it was a success! I'm making more for lunch tomorrow. Steven and I have promised to not buy meals until we finished eating all of the groceries we have at home (which is a ton since we got a little carried away with the meat section at Costco). -G
