Tart taste, sweet passion Fruit grows on it’s creeper vine - Pulpy juicy seeds
This isn’t a Dream. This is actually for homework. Learn about your friend FIBER guys. It is prob the only thing that will treat your bod right. jk
Fiber Fiber FIber
What is this stuff anyway? Let’s make it simple and just say that it's the slightly hard to chew part of plants fruits and the past-like part of hot oatmeal and in beans.
What's so great about them? You ask?
1. They get rid of cholesterol! Cholesterol is made out of fats, by getting rid of it, it lowers our chance of developing heart diseases and helps you get rid of fat!
2. They help you avoid constipation! Fiber helps food move smoothly through the gut as foods get broken down.
3. They keep your immune system in check! Fiber provides food for the "good bacteria" in your intestines (which has one of the most immune functions in the body) to stay strong, which will keep you healthy and happy!
4. They keep you full! Fibers will make you full faster and keep you full for longer, especially fiber from squishy foods like lentils, beans, and prunes.
Fiber sounds pretty cool, how do I get some and how much do I have to eat? Well, they are everywhere! They are in skins of fruits and veggies. You can find more in whole grains, and legumes as well! Women need 25g of it and men need 38g per day. However, when a person is over 50, he/she won't need as much of it. To meet your daily fiber need, eat two fistfuls of fruits/ veggies/legumes or just eat only whole grain bread, pasta, and brown rice!.
What are you waiting for? Go out into the world and hunt down some fiber for your lovely body!

The 10 Second Leg Test | A Better Predictor of Fractures Than Bone Density?
I just watched this fascinating video on the 10 Second Leg Test and its role in understanding bone health and fracture prevention. It shares how simple movement tests can reveal important insights about strength, balance, and aging. A great reminder that healthy bones are not just about density, but also about how well our body moves.

Bone Mineral Density Test: Why Early Bone Health Screening Matters
Bone Mineral Density Test: A Simple Step Toward Stronger Bones
Healthy bones provide the strength and support needed for an active and independent lifestyle. However, bone loss often develops gradually without noticeable symptoms until a fracture occurs. A Bone Mineral Density Test is a safe and non-invasive imaging test that measures bone strength and helps identify the risk of osteoporosis and fractures at an early stage.
This test is commonly recommended for older adults, postmenopausal women, individuals with a family history of osteoporosis, or those taking long-term steroid medications. By evaluating bone density, healthcare providers can recommend lifestyle changes or treatment to help protect bone health before complications develop.
The scan is quick, painless, and requires little to no special preparation. It typically measures bone density in the hip and spine, providing valuable information about overall skeletal health. Early screening can help reduce the risk of fractures and support better long-term mobility.
Sprint Diagnostics offers Bone Mineral Density (BMD) testing using advanced DEXA technology, experienced radiology professionals, and reliable reporting to support accurate diagnosis and preventive healthcare.
Take a proactive approach to your bone health. Regular screening can help detect bone loss early and support informed healthcare decisions.
The 10 Second Leg Test | A Better Predictor of Fractures Than Bone Density?
