This was too funny not to animate it >:)

New tactics in controlling infection are sorely needed, with antibiotic-resistant bacteria expected to claim as many as 2 million lives each
New tactics in controlling infection are sorely needed, with antibiotic-resistant bacteria expected to claim as many as 2 million lives each year by 2050. US and Spanish researchers have now discovered at least some bacteria pay a steep price for their resistance – a cost that we may be able to exploit to fight infection. "We discovered an Achilles heel of antibiotic-resistant bacteria," says molecular biologist Gürol Süel from the University of California, San Diego.

Material previously thought to be quantum is actually a new, non-quantum state of matter
Magnetic materials in a quantum spin liquid phase are of great interest in the pursuit of exotic state of matter and quantum computation. But in the quantum realm, things are not always what they seem. A study, published in Science Advances and co-led by Rice University's Pengcheng Dai, found that the material cerium magnesium hexalluminate (CeMgAl11O19) was not actually in a quantum spin liquid phase despite evidence suggesting it was. "The material had been classified as a quantum spin liquid due to two properties: observation of a continuum of states and lack of magnetic ordering," said Bin Gao, co-first author and a research scientist at Rice. "But closer observation of the material showed that the underlying cause of these observations wasn't a quantum spin liquid phase."

Treatments using intravenous magnesium sulfate have shown to reduce the symptoms of akinetic mutism. In one case, a 59-year-old woman was administered intravenous magnesium sulfate in an attempt to resolve her akinetic mutism. The patient was given 500 mg of magnesium every eight hours, and improvement was seen after 24 hours. She became more verbal and attentive, and treatment was increased to 1000 mg every eight hours as conditions continued to improve.[13]
Day 12: Magnesium
Magnesium sticks can be scraped with a knife as a fire-starting aid, you can just buy these at a camping store.
I was showcased this back in junior high and it was my second-coolest magnesium related memory. (The first was stealing a strip of magnesium from the storeroom and setting it on fire)
I almost lost my vision to a magnesium fire in chemistry class a bit ago
My first introduction to all of this was your plans video materializing in my feed randomly
I don’t know what tf the algorithms are cooking up but I’m fine with it
oh gosh fjkgh sorry to hear about that incident, hope your eyes are ok
here's Magnesium personally apologizing for it
