(In regards to the whole bone thing you just posted about) Hey, uhh, can we get some elaboration on that? What the fuck do you mean by that? (also, how many bones ARE in the human body/ear?)
This post!
Okay, so this thing was made for like ~12-13 year old kids, right? I'm not gonna explain the whole detailed plot of the series (because it really isn't necessary).
So, the general background information needed is that Adult Character 1 was being followed by this weird shadow thing that was annoying her so she bought a cage like thing that should trap it. Well, Adult Character 2 was secretly using the cage for his own purposes as well. Main Character Kid accidentally broke part of the cage and found a bone inside. His Favorite Side Kick identified it as a human bone and noticed all the other parts of the cage also looked like human bones.
These two kids then broke open the rest of the pieces and began assembling the human skeleton like it were some fun little jigsaw puzzle. Favorite Side Kick then proceeds to say that (I'm a little fuzzy on the details on this one) at his place of work, they have a literal skeleton in the closet and he had to know how to reassemble it and know how many bones it had as part of the interview process.
In case anyone was wondering or if you asked simply for this, there are 206 bones in the human body, with 3 small bones residing in each ear.
The book series is called Septimus Heap and the book is the third, Flyte.
Anyways, that information has stayed with me ever since I first read it and I called it back up when watching a video about a serial killer who had about 9 heads in his cooler along with 240 bones. The person making the video paused to just kind of stare at that information before continuing on and I paused it myself because that was a very low number if he indeed had kept all the bones of his victims. He should have had closer to 1800 some-odd bones.
