Chill, Relax || Lily & Victor
It wasn’t like Lily to be separated from her twin for long and neither was it like her to be alone at such an event. She had learned from Bella about the place and what it meant to any supernatural creature, and the very gravity of the stuation left the red head almost reluctant to go and enjoy the party. However, the party had provided her with an excuse to be out of the house, even if she enjoyed the farm, but the real reason why she’d decided to go was because she thought she might see her brother there, yet throughout the evening she hadn’t even glimpsed at him, once.
She was seated further from the crowds, clutching a mug of a strong drink between her hands her eyes fixed upon the fire, watching the flames dance, lick and jump from the burning wood. The fire pulled her thoughts in many directions, most of them straying towards Charles and her desire to talk to him, to let him know it was okay for him to open up to her; she wanted to let him know she isn’t, in any case, disappointed in him and that there was nothing he could do that would dimnish her love, trust and respect of him. The rest of her thoughts led her to her twin, and the remaining percentage towards their selkie friend, Bella.
Lily was so deep in thoughts that she failed to notice a person approaching, until a familiar voice spoke beside her and she already felt that delighted and absolutely thrilled smile pulling at her lips. It was her innocent game - he always seemed to be annoyed by her good mood, so she always took extra effort to appear in sickeningly good mood. Brilliant, even.
“Victor! It has been simply far too long since last we have met. Sit, sit, join me for a mug of whatever it is I’m currently drinking.” Lily spoke, her cheeks already starting to itch from the effort of widening her smile.
