20. Incorporate glitter

Okay so you can’t see it in this photo, but the glitter does show up in the makeup photo.

Anyway, another semester, another student group fair!  Of course I wore this shirt again.  We got a lot of sign-ups, so I think it went well!  I wore three different outfits over the course of the day--exercise clothes for physical therapy in the morning, this in the afternoon, and another outfit in the evening that you’ll see tomorrow...

Okay, so obviously I love this shirt to death.  I mean... I really don’t know what else there is to say?  Yeah, amazing shirt.  (My most popular post in it has the photo cropped to a weird size, which is why it’s not in this set.)

5. A leg up: center your outfit around funky tights or socks.

Alright, here we go!  Time for another outfit challenge.  I’m not gonna do this one in the order it was written--I started with this theme because it’s really easy, since I’m still working through all the socks/tights that Sock Dreams sent me and I’ve been planning to wear this outfit for a while.  These tights are the Leg Avenue striped ones, which is the exact pair I used to have.  Leg Avenue is that company that makes basically all the tights you find in Halloween stores, so the quality isn’t great, but I knew that going in.  (Sadly, the discount code that Sock Dreams gave me is no longer extant.)

I also have new sneakers!  My beloved, six-year-old ones suddenly and dramatically fell apart and I had to replace them right away.  Luckily I was meeting up with my parents in New York City for a few days, so my mother financed said replacement--these are the same brand and are honestly pretty similar, except for the color scheme.  I’m not thrilled about the white parts, since they’re gonna look gross if I don’t clean them, and I don’t want to have to do that.  But hey, look what I can do now!  (I know, I know, it’s not good for my toes or my sneakers.)

Hey look, new skirt!  There’s a really cool vintage shop that I walk past every time I go to and from the university and while I’ve mostly resisted temptation, I unfortunately happened to be a bit too near it while I was feeling anxious...  That being said, I’ve wanted a black pleated skirt to replace that old one I had ages ago, so it’s mostly a practical purchase.  I still technically have that skirt and it just needs a little mending, but it was always pretty tight in the waist so buying a fairly cheap replacement that fits better felt pretty reasonable.  (The other thing I bought was... less reasonable...)

Why yes, I am a dog person.

I felt like this was an appropriate outfit to wear to give a quick presentation in my Disability Studies class.
