He’d not been expecting, as he stood there with head in a book in the bookshop of the man he’d shared tea with, to be surprised like this. Aarons attention having been, up until this wholly unwelcome surprise, on the book he’d been reading.
Letting out a rather loud, utterly surprised yell. Aaron stumbled forward, surprise spurring him into movement, the teenager only just managing to keep a hold of the book. Turning, after taking a moment to lower his heart rate and to make sure he didn’t currently have wolf golden eyes, he turned and spoke to the (angel) man. “You SCARED me!” he exclaimed with a smile. “I was like two lines away from finishing the chapter.. I didn’t even hear you coming.. how were you so quiet?”
