She follows behind him in the hall as the pair leave behind the loud on going conversation in the lobby with a likely not entirely heard excuse for the two to slip away up the few floors to the penthouse on the left most side. It seemed they were finally going to have a full talk with no sugar coating or vague answering to avoid upsetting Charlie.

Following his much lower stature from behind, just the two of them, makes her want nothing more than to scoop him up into her arms and squeeze him close... that wasn't exactly in the cards, was it? Lilith kind of hoped it was, a hug would be great right then. The demoness doesn't mean to.... but she does accidentally box Lucifer in against the threshold of his door, hand resting on the mantle and gazing down at him with intense dark eyes. Her sharp gaze watched him, golden eyes bright in the shadow as she examined him, eyes following the bob of his throat when he swallowed. They caught the flicker in his eyes, the slowness of his response —

Her hand glides down the curve of his back to rest at the lower end, gently guiding him further into the room with her as she closed it behind them. It's brief, that pause, as her claws lightly rest there before sliding away her warm hand, removing it. Striding to the middle of the room, she stretches as she takes in the decor. "This hotel has went through quite an upgrade since the last time I had seen it properly."

Her steps are measured, prowling over to sit on the edge of his bed, one leg crossing over the other. Lilith's intense gaze and open stare could make anyone quiver, let alone someone used to being on the receiving end of it and remembering vividly what usually followed, no doubt colored by being cornered in by a very sexy wifey after a few years.

Not entirely her intentions, but the mask comes so easily to rest on her face, guarding her heart for the conversation that was to follow.

There was no question that Lucifer was overjoyed with the love of his life returned home after so many years apart. Still to this day, he was thrilled despite his own worries in his heart that the woman might not love him anymore or might have grown bored with him or so on and so forth. but he knew one thing.

Lilith was right behind him and his heart ticking away nonstop out of nervousness- that was when he felt her presence so undeniably close to him when he saw her hand resting on the mantle and gazing down at him with those alluring and seductive eyes that were aimed right at him.

He felt himself swallow right there under her form as she watched him intently before he managed to get the door open and stumble back a little into the room. He was quick to catch himself and fix his suit, clearing his throat as he smiled at her with a little laugh leaving him as he watched her enter, closing the door behind her as he then re-met her eyes when she spoke up about the hotel.

"Well, yeah it went under construction cause of that attack from Heaven, ya know? Had to spiff it up for our baby. Had to give it some of my love to it~" He chuckled softer this time even when he had come up to her as she sat down on the bed. Her eyes were hard to deny but, he knew they needed to talk.

"Honey...what..happened? No more...dancing around it come on we have to talk about this..despite how you...look at me and I...want you but, that's not what's important. Please talk to me, Lili-bear." He pleaded quietly to her here.
