回程667 If there is a milestone in illustration, this is one of them. I am humbled to be given the opportunity to work on this poster for Royston Tan's 回程667, a compilation of short films by Eva Tang, He Shuming, Liao Jiekai, Jun Chong and Kirsten Tan on their personal exploration of their dialect roots. Also making an appearance is Boo Junfeng in Liao Jiekai's short film. . The illustration is inspired by the themes of travel, specifically covering some places from China such as Qionghai (瓊海) in Hainan, Huangpu (黃埔) in Guangzhou and Qianmei Village （前美村) in Shantou. The work is also driven by personal memories of painted movie posters I used to see at the cinemas at Clementi and Queenstown during my primary school days. . The short films will be screened next week on the 25th of May at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre designed by @dparchitects . .
