Don’t know if anyone read my post where I said I had news, but I’m ready to share it! I’m also terrified, so this is going to be short and then I’m going to run.
I’m writing a book!!!!!✍🏼✨🤍 I am planning to self-publish it later this year, hopefully in middle/late fall!
I’ll probably share more details soon and my bookstagram handle. I just want to say thank you for all of your kind words, your encouragement, and for reading what I’ve written here. The name of my book is: So, No Prom? (SNP) for short. It started as a comedy, but is most definitely not anymore. Therefore the title may change.
It’s about the zombie apocalypse. It’s a book with a lot of queer rep. Written by a queer person.

Margret Rivero: 45 Carlos and Maggies mom, I chose that name because I don’t like her, has been married go her childrens father twice now, they need to get divorced again.
I unfortunately lost where I wrote down Carlos and Maggie's dad's name- but he’s 40, and the hispanic parent, margret is not, she’s the definition of a middle aged white woman
Vanessa: 35, She/Her, Carlos and Maggies ex-step-mom. The kids love her though.

This is my first serious attempt at bookbinding and I’m really happy with how it came out! I like the open spine even more than I thought I would, it looks really nice with the gold thread. It opens really nicely and lies open flat and stuff, too, it’s just- very comfortable to read, and feels nice and solid. Pretty good for a first try!
I love libraries!! ❤️ I was a bit disappointed that my old library subscription conked out on Hoopla, a book and steaming site. I tried out my new library card just to see if it worked. Turns out now I have 30 instant borrows and 10 flex borrows per month!! 3 times what I usually have. I should try out Kanopy with this card.
