Okay rant time.

I’m so tired of people screaming about adult books under the guise of “WHAT IF THE CHILDREN READ IT!”

THEN PARENT YOUR FUCKING KIDS!!!!

Not everything on this planet is safe for kids! Not everything is made for everyone! Are you guys gonna go on a rampage at the cinema when they show adult movies that are very clearly fucking labeled?!

Adult books have warnings! They either have physical warnings at the front and sometimes even the back of the book. Or the cover gives an indication that it is not a family happy go lucky book. Or hell even the GENRE it’s in will tell you it’s not appropriate for little Suzy!!

Your kid shouldn’t have free rein on TikTok to watch whatever the fuck pops up. This isn’t the 90s anymore where people are just learning or implementing parental controls. If you don’t know how to use parental controls, and protect your kids in the year of 2026, then that is your fucking fault! You are the parent!! Do your fucking job and protect your kid from things that arnt appropriate for them!!

Your kids should not be showing up in year 7 with Haunting Adeline! And then you getting all defensive saying “You didn’t know!” WHAT ABOUT THE BOOK COVER TELLS YOU THAT ITS APPROPRIATE FOR A 12 YEAR OLD!!!! For fuck sake I’m so over this. Use your fucking eyes! And if you can’t do that then I’m sorry all hope is lost for you. The least you can do before buying a book for your child, is doing even a BASIC google search. Or hell, even easier. You’re in a bookstore, ASK THE STAFF WORKING ABOUT THE BOOK!!!!

I’m sorry you can not use the “I didn’t know” excuse as a parent in 2026. You just can’t. If you arnt protecting your children, you are actively letting them down. Yes you can’t control everything in life. But knowing what the fuck you are buying for your child is 100% SOMETHING YOU CAN CONTROL!!!

Get the fuck out of here with the “I don’t know” bs. ITS YOUR JOB TO FUCKING KNOW!!!!

So happy these two finally figured things out! All it took was a little time, some maturity, and an honest conversation, to get things moving. An unexpected visitor actually helps them out, as they move towards their HEA <3

I’ve just finished reading Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, and it was AMAZING!

I’ve already posted something about some of my opinions, but I’m gonna say them again anyway

- I love Levi, I love his love for Cath, and I think I need my own Levi… book boyfriends for life I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

- Cath is probably the most relatable character I have ever read about, and I love soooo much!

- I wish there was more Reagan in the book, she was such a fun character to read about and was low-key badass.

- SO glad that nothing romantic happened with Nick (if it wasn’t obvious I’m a Levi stan and I was rooting for Levi the whole time I was reading the book)
