I’m going to be honest, I haven’t even opened my game in a couple of weeks!  I’ve been too busy both in my personal life and with the second draft of the book.  It’s. Going. To take. FOREVER!!  I bought an actual writing software to help with the process and it has.  I no longer have files all over my desktop I have to keep switching to.  It’s all in one program and I can pull it up all on one screen.  It did take me DAYS, however, to transfer and reorganize all of my research and character portraits, story arcs, all that jazz.  Anyway, I have finally started to actually rewrite the entire book, scene by scene and I decided I’d share some random pictures from test playing in Sao Paten.  Unfortunately, those pictures appear to have somehow corrupted and I have since cleaned out my sims 3 files because I do that from time to time.  So anyway, enjoy some random scenery pictures from Thicket that I don’t believe I’ve shared before.

Book Progress Update #12

I've had such a rough month in July. With my mood and feelings I had a rollercoaster. My daily planning I had for a long while has changed since I started my internship. And I really need to prepare for the end of the month, since I'll be taking my practical exam, and if I pass I'm able to call myself a vetrinairy technician officially.

I also wish to appologize for the lack of activity here on the blog and on twitter. In the whole month of July I've only read three books, of which I've posted a review. I'm partially done with the book I'm currently beta-reading, but have been even out of the loop on that one.

I feel I just need to recallibrate and adjust my goals. Let's begin by evaluating my goals for July:

- Let the writing rest for 4 months. (3/4) (Reached) - Rework/Rewrite the Religion and Magic aspect of my WIP. (Partially done) - Catch up on my monthly reads; Wit'ch Fire and Wit'ch Storm By James Clemens. (Dnf'd the series) - Read 400 pages/finish of Under the Dome by Stephen King. (Didn't Reach)

I DNF'd the Series by James Clemens because I didn't feel attracted to it. It just didn't hold my attention. Since I've owned them for a long while I might just donate them somewhere, and get the books off my shelf.

For Under The Dome by Stephen King; I feel it to be a bit daunting to continue, since it's a rather large book. So I'll make it a long term goal to finish it by the end of the year. I've about 580 pages left, so if I read 120 pages every month I should be fine.

So... for my Goals of August: - Let the writing rest for 4 months. (4/4) - Read one book. (Probably a John Green) - Read 120 pages of Stephen King's Under the Dome. - August 11th Special (Follow me on twitter for updates!)

Book Progress Update #11

The 7th month of 2018 is finally here. Slowly but surely the 12th month of my journey will be upon us, and be ready for that! You can do that by following me here on Tumblr or over on my Twitter!! But first I need to get through July and here is how I'll do that:

As I told you all last month, I really wanted to slow down with my goals. A very important time for me is coming up this summer as I'm getting ready to finally graduate school.

So these were my goals for June: - Let the writing rest for 4 months. (2/4) (Reached) - Casually work on background new WIP. (Reached) - Read Wit'ch Fire by James Clemens. (Didn't Reach) - Read 2 books. (Reached, total of 6) - Become a Beta-Reader. (Reached) I read 420 pages of Under the Dome by Stephen King and I plan to read roughly the same amount of pages in July. The book deals with some heavy stuff, that I'll mention in the actual review, so that is why progress is slow.

Now, let's head on to my Goals for July; - Let the writing rest for 4 months. (3/4) - Rework/Rewrite the Religion and Magic aspect of my WIP. - Catch up on my monthly reads; Wit'ch Fire and Wit'ch Storm By James Clemens. - Read 400 pages/finish of Under the Dome by Stephen King.

My goal had been to read 50 pages very day. If I wish to finish those 3 books alone by the end of the month, I need to read 48 pages every day, which is possible. If I read 50 pages it take me 30 days, so I have one day of wiggle room.

There are some more personal goals I've set for myself; 4 in total.

Book Progress Update #8

I can't believe that the first three months of 2018 have already passed by. Every month I share with you my goals of the passed month and those of the upcoming month.

These were my Goals for March: - Settle on a book Title. (Reached) - Edit 5 Chapters. (Reached) - Read The Warrior Heir by Chinda Williams Chima. (Reached) - Read three books. (Reached)

This is the very first time I have reached all the goals I've set out for myself. I've learned that I need to break things into smaller chunks to actually complete them. So on to my goals for April: - Get location inspiration from my vacation. - Edit the last 5 Chapters of my debut novel. - Read the Wizard Heir by Chinda Williams Chima. - Read three books.
