Writing this book nearly broke me in the best way, because these characters don’t let go. There were tears. There was wine and a particular scene that absolutely ruined me (you’ll know it when you read it). But more than anything, there was love. Love for these broken, beautiful characters. Love for the world and life, they desperately tried to build together. And love for you, for reading, for embracing the shadows and returning again and again.
