I slipped a little but here's #book22 : Jan Chozen Bays' "Mindfulness on the Go" asks "The fundamental question underlying all these mindfulness tasks is this: 'Are you willing to change?'" And to that I say, "Yes." Not because I don't like myself or how my life has been playing out, but I just wanna know what would happen if I tried something new, did things a little differently, experimented with really being present. I think I need a little more of that so life doesn't just happen without me fully living it. Anyway, I appreciated this book because, along with the mindfulness exercises, are ways to remind yourself to do them, experiences and reactions the writer observed when she and the other people at her monastery practiced them, and deeper, bigger picture lessons gained from them. Plus, this book fits in my pocket, it's so cute! So I like that I can carry it around with me as I try out these exercises. I think mindful eating is going to be my favorite hehe 😋 #unsolicitedminibookreviews #25by25
