The story focuses on a young boy Taran, who is chosen by none other than Lord Ganesha for a greater mission. The story starts on the occasion of Ganesh Chathurthi and Taran's family taking part in Visargan. When Taran's elder brother Karthik purposefully irritates him, Taran snatches Karthik's pendant and run away from him only to meet Lord Ganesha who assigns him the most critical task which according to him only Taran can do. And to top it all Taran's family has been taken hostage by Preta and Ganesha informs Taran that he can save his family only if he completes his mission. Will Taran go on a mission proposed by Lord Ganesha? Will he save his family? Can he risk his life for a mission which he is not even aware of? Will he be able to succeed in his mission? The story was very gripping from the beginning and it hooked me till the end. It is filled with adventure, thrill and fun and the narration style made it more interesting to read. There are a lot of characters in the story with each one contributing to it some way or the other. If you love reading sci-fi, fantasy and mythology books this can be a good read for you and it's suitable for all age groups.
