This book scares the pants off me!! Not only because it’s a hefty size but also because I’ve read some of the authors other books and they are deep!! Don’t get me wrong I will conquer this beast...at some point...and definitely on my kindle!! But until then I’ll stick to my nice 400-600 page books!! Happy Saturday friends!! One more night of work and then I’m off for two day! I have some more fun photos and even a cosplay or two planned!! Hopefully the weather cooperates and I get some good sunshine!! There are not a ton of stand alone books in the YA world but the ones we do have are incredible!! Some of my favorites include: To Kill a Kingdom, Sisters of Sword and Song, The Shadows Between Us, House of Salt and Sorrows, and probably a couple more I’m forgetting! I also love finishing a book and having a conclusion but also at the same time sad I don’t get to see more of the characters!! What are some of your favorite stand alone books? . . Happy Wednesday friends! I am exhausted!! It wasn’t even that busy at work but wow am I tired!! Anyway...one of my favorite trilogies is the Caraval series!! It’s just so magical and the main characters are so relatable. Plus the air of mystery mixed with the promise of magic just draws you into this world!! I cannot get enough of this series and Stephanie’s beautiful writing!! I cannot wait to see what this secret project is she has been hinting at for ages!! Hopefully we get some more hints soon!! I know I definitely did but thankfully I have one more fun night planned tonight!! Have you all read Bloodleaf yet?? I absolutely love this book!! The main character dabbles in blood magic and it sounds so intriguing but also very dangerous. I think I may give it a try (I mean who wouldn’t want magic in their lives?!?). But I also think it would cause some serious problems!!
