“To Kill a Mocking Bird” by Harper Lee
(2/19)
It’s been a long time since my last book review , as matter of fact, my first book review. But during that long time i was reading this book. Yes, it took me forever to read it. However, there is this thing about school that it doesn’t help you “ at all” at reading the books you want to. And by help i mean time. Well, the good news is: i can cross another book from my booketlist !!! Yes! That´s right ! And being this one a classic from American Literature. I won´t get into much detail, because i´m pretty sure a lot of you have already read this one, specially for a school subject (?). Anyway, i know that it would be better if i read the new books that are out there in the market, but i always have this curiosity about classic books, and what makes them a classic. Seeing is believing i guess … So, just a little warning : you should expect a lot of classic books in here. But, hey!, i promise i won´t be “boring” while writing about them ( at least i´ll try ) Now, let´s get down to business! First of all, I have to say that this book knows how to make someone feelings crush. I had fun while reading it, but there where moments where i had to close the book and take a deep breath. More than one, to be honest.
So, the main plot is undeniably amazing. The whole story is told by a eight-year old girl, named Jean Louise Finch ( aka Scout), and it’s basically her childhood. Well, the way she sees her childhood, from things that happen in her small town to what happens with her.
In this book, the author explores social issues, like racism, which is comprehensive due to the fact the story time is the 20s centuries. Bit i’m going to focus on an happy theme : childhood
While i was reading this book, it brought me back so many wonderful memories of my own childhood. Just like Scout as an older brother, whom she spent her whole childhood with, i had an older cousin who is indeed the main figure of my childish times. It’s a fact that me and him were always fighting, mostly for silly things, but because of that , i can now say , that we have one of the strongest relationships i have or will ever have. He is definitely an older brother for me.
Anyway, recently i found that there is a sequel and i really want to read it, no … i need to read, because it’s still in Scout point of view but this time 20 years later or something like that. Either way, i’m pretty sure it’s going to be awesome!!!
People generally see what they look for and hear what they listen for.

Fairly Introduction
Hey you ! Yes you ! You are probably wondering “ where the hell am i? “ and my friend , i´m afraid to say that you´ve landed in a very strange blog. Unless you love books... that way this one is totally for you. As you can see by the tittle, this is my books bucket list, that i decided to simply ship ( Book + Bucket List = Booket List ).
So, i decided to do this bucket list because i´ve always had a big amount of books that i wanted to read and i needed something to keep me on track. Then there was this day ( begining of the year, tbh) that i thought “ i´m going to create a list of books that i want to read in 2016 “. This is how my booket list was born. Anyway, what i am doing in this blog is doing a little review/comment of all the books that i will read and maybe , who knows , you will be interested on the book and you will read it and share your opinion with me ? ( just an idea)
Stay awesome!
