Hi there! I’m back with a new book haul post! I swear, online shopping is freaking addicting but nothing beats the happiness that bookstores give. I miss staying in bookstores for hours just browsing titles and buying a book or two, I don’t do that anymore because safety first! Whenever I visit a bookstore, I don’t spend too much time inside, I just get the title that I need to buy, pay for it and go home. That's why I just buy books online, it’s fun to wait for bookmails plus I enjoy opening parcels. HAHAHA!
Anyway, I’m here to share the books I bought for the month of March, online, of course but I went to Fully Booked Baguio last week and bought a copy of The English Patient. Alright, let’s do this.
THE BRONZE HORSEMAN and TATIANA AND ALEXANDER - I don’t read a lot of Historical Romance Novels but this trilogy is one of my favorites! Tania and Alexander’s story is really beautiful and heartbreaking! Definitely one of the best Historical Romance novels I’ve ever read. If you have recommendations, please please please send me a message! I’d love to read more of these awesomeness! I just need a copy of The Summer Garden and I’m good!
MAYBE NOW - Maybe Now is the sequel of Maybe Someday featuring Maggie Carson, one of Ridge’s best friends and his ex-girlfriend. I loved her in Maybe Someday that’s why I’m freaking stoked when I saw that she will get her own story! I’ve got a copy of this on my kindle plus I also listened to the audio book. I didn’t like it that much because Ridge and Sydney are too sweet but I love Maggie so I bought the book. Also, because it is by Colleen Hoover and it’s one of my bookish goals to get all her books.
THE SILENT PATIENT - This psychological thriller is one of my most anticipated books, and I've been wanting to read it because I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews about it on goodreads and on instagram. I listened to half of it but since audiobooks don’t really work for me, I bought a copy.
THOUGHTLESS TRILOGY - Aaaaaah! One of the best deals! I got the trilogy for only 765 pesos (including the shipping fee). I heard the original price of each book was around 600 pesos? So I was able to save 1,000+. Thoughtless is one of my favorite series, glad I finally have paperback copies of each book!
There you go! Another budol episode. LOL! Now I don’t know where to put them. My small shelf is already full and I have a book cart but I cannot use it just yet because my room is too messy right now. Blame the renovation they’ve been doing.
